Car Accident in Wilmington, North Carolina Results in One Fatality

A woman was killed in a car accident involving an SUV in Wilmington, North Carolina (NC).

According to the Wilmington Police Department the woman, originally from New Hanover County, was traveling on Oleander Drive in a Dodge Neon when she was struck by an SUV.

The driver and passenger of the SUV suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries from the car accident. The woman was taken to a local Wilmington Hospital where she later died as a result of her injuries.
