Alexander Monk, a teenager residing in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) died tragically in a single car accident on Beulah Church Road at Heritage Acres Drive in Weddington, according to WCNC.

My condolences go out to Mr. Monk’s friends and family. It’s difficult to lose any loved one, but to have a young individual taken from us far too soon is always terrible.

A friend of Alex’s posted on the WCNC message board offering their sympathy…

“He was a good kid with a good heat and a smart head on his shoulders… RIP Alex Monk. You will be missed greatly by all of your friends.”

The details of the crash are still being investigated. We know Alex lost control of the vehicle, but we don’t know why.

As an injury lawyer who handles car accident cases, I see far too many young people seriously injured or killed and I hope a thorough investigation gets to the bottom of what exactly happened.
