Last Saturday, April 4th, there was a terrible accident involving four cars which left two men dead and three injured. The multi-vehicle crash occurred in Beaufort County North Carolina.

According to North Carolina Highway Patrol the two accident victims were 48 year-old Charles Ray Adams and 48 year-old Joseph Allen Dixon both of Chocowinity, North Carolina(NC) ; a small rural community about 15 miles southeast of Greenville, North Carolina(NC).

Police reports say the accident happened Saturday (April 4) afternoon on Highway 33 near Tripp Road. Sergeant Tim Crumpler of the North Carolina Highway Patrol tells WITN the car at fault crossed over the center line which caused the four car collision.

Adams and Dixon died at the scene and three others were taken to Beaufort County Medical Center to treat their injuries sustained from the head-on crash. At this point Highway Patrol says they are still investigating what caused the two men’s car to cross the center line.
