What Happened
Just south of Alexandria, Virginia (VA) a man was struck and killed by an Amtrak Train.
The accident took place between Backlick Road and the Beltway on February 7, 2013. The accident is still under investigation but authorities stated that the pedestrian had been walking alongside the tracks when he was struck.
