Carteret County Bomb specialists were called in for a bomb threat Wednesday morning forced an evacuation at the Carteret County Courthouse, and authorities need your help to find the person who phoned it in.

Dispatchers at the 911 center told courthouse officials about the threat at 8:44 a.m. Wednesday.

The Marines brought in their explosive team, which searched the building with dogs. The team did not find anything suspicious or dangerous.

The threat was made from a pay phone at the In and Out Express convenient store parking lot, which is across from East Carteret High School.
